The longest is hole 5, which runs through 5 rooms. Water crosses hole 6; the bridge is the only dry way over, and a splash costs a stroke.
Slopes on holes 5 and 9 pull the ball sideways or back — aim to the high side. On holes 3 and 7 a bank cut across the corner turns the ball through a right angle. A fence with a gap blocks hole 8; find the gap before you think about the cup. A bowl around the cup on holes 1, 2, 5 and 9 draws gentle putts in. A hill around the cup on hole 7 throws slow balls away; putt firmly at the centre.
A balanced round. The par 3s are where strokes are won or lost — play them in two calm shots rather than one hero putt.
