In spare set #466 the ten leaves come in this order: 4-5, 5, 1-2-8, 1-3-6, 3-9, 2, 9, 2-8, 3-5-6-9 and 3-6. One ball for each, and every clear counts.
We rolled each of these leaves 48 times with the Hard computer's aim and errors. On this set it cleared 20 out of 48 on average. The kindest leave here is the 3-6 leave, cleared 31 times out of 48; the toughest is the 4-5 leave, with only 9.
Watch for a pin hidden directly behind another (3-9 leave and 2-8 leave): hit the front pin full so it drives into the one behind. The widest leave, the 4-5 leave, has pins far apart across the lane; it needs a pin to slide across and take the other. Clusters of three or four pins (1-2-8 leave, 1-3-6 leave and 3-5-6-9 leave) fall to a ball aimed at the pin closest to you.
A hard set with awkward leaves. Clearing six or seven of the ten is a very good result here.
